Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Basement Films is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that supports experimental, independent, and under-represented forms of film and videomaking. Our membership is made up of artists, activists, media makers and “film buffs.”

Alternative Film and Video Festival in Belgrade. Basement Films hosts filmmaking workshops at educational institutions including the University of New Mexico, the Albuquerque Academy, Highlands University, The Public Academy for Performing Arts, The Youth Development Institute, and Amy Biel High School.
