Oct 7, 2010 · When Rutger Zuydervelt (Machinefabriek) and I first talked about the L/M/R/W release ‘Drifts’ (home_n009), I was soon made aware of his work with the enormously talented clarinetist Gareth Davis. Following on from their 3″ releases of Soundlines and Ghost Lanes, this is their first full album release together.
Machinefabriek is the musical nom de plume of Dutch musician/sound artist and graphic designer Rutger Zuydervelt. Biography. Rutger Zuydervelt was born on 28 July 1978 in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. He started working as Machinefabriek in 2004. Except for a few piano and guitar lessons when he was young, Zuydervelt didn’t study music.
