Osamu Takizawa (滝沢 修, Takizawa Osamu, 13 November 1906 – 22 June 2000) was a Japanese actor. He was born in Ushigome, Shinjuku, Tokyo. Starting at the Tsukiji Little Theater, Takizawa participated in a number of theatrical troupes before forming Gekidan Mingei with Jūkichi Uno.
本名：滝沢 脩。 築地小劇場 の研究生として初舞台を踏み、次いで 東京左翼劇場 、 新協劇団 に参加、『 夜明け前 』『火山灰地』などの演技で注目された。 戦後は 東京芸術劇場 、民衆芸術劇場の結成を経て、 宇野重吉 らと 劇団民藝 を創設して代表を務め、日本の 新劇 を代表する俳優 [1] となった。 重厚なリアリズム演技に定評があり、舞台の代表作に『炎の人』『 セールスマンの死 』『オットーと呼ばれる日本人』などがある [1] 。 舞台演出も手がけ、映画・テレビドラマへの出演も多い。 主な映画出演作に『 安城家の舞踏会 』『 原爆の子 』『 戦争と人間 』など。 著書に『俳優の創造』など。 来歴.
