Paul John McGann ( / məˈɡæn / mə-GAN; [1] born 14 November 1959) is an English actor. He came to prominence for portraying Percy Toplis in the television serial The Monocled Mutineer (1986), then starred in the dark comedy Withnail and I (1987), which was a critical success and developed a cult following.
Paul McGann is a British actor and director, best known for his roles in The Three Musketeers, Withnail & I and Alien 3. He also voiced the eighth Doctor in various Doctor Who spin-offs and podcasts.
