Dec 16, 2021 · On Sunday, December 5th, Christine Burke's husband, partner, and best friend, Gary McCleery, passed away unexpectedly. This devastating loss came just a couple of weeks after their daughter Clementine returned home from seven weeks in the hospital with a frightening and costly digestive disorder.
Sadly, despite his release, Gary's mental outlook did not improve. He was last seen leaving his Manhattan apartment on January 10, and witnesses had reported a man fitting Gray's description look despondent and upset on the Staten Island Ferry that evening.
We're very sad to hear of the passing of Gary McCleery, who was in Baby It's You and Matewan when we first started getting to make movies. Gary was a great source of energy to have on the team, always bringing enthusiasm and intensity to the work.
