Biography. Born Leslie March Gerahty on 21 May 1902 [4] in St Margarets, Surrey, [5] his parents were George and Laura. [6] His elder brothers were the author Digby George Gerahty and the journalist Cecil Gerahty. [7] Marsh began acting on the stage at the age of fifteen.
Garry Marsh (1902-1981) was a character actor who appeared in films and TV shows such as Department Store, C.O.D., and The Forsyte Saga. He was the younger brother of Digby George Gerahty, who wrote the novel Elephant Walk under the pen name Robert Standish.
