Oct 24, 2023 · Guy Hoffmann, chair of Luxembourg’s Banque Raiffeisen, has been elected chair of the International Raiffeisen Union. The IRU is the global umbrella group for 50 cooperative banks in 33 countries, the majority located in Europe and east Asia.
Guy Hoffmann is ABBL chairman and CEO & chairman of Banque Raiffeisen Mike Zenari. Luxembourg’s finance industry is well enough capitalised to navigate turbulent times, but Guy Hoffmann says Luxembourg must manage finance sector growth in the coming years. “2023 will be a challenging year,” he said.
