Frank Fontaine (1920-1978) was an American actor, comedian and singer, known for his roles in Hit Parade of 1951, The Jackie Gleason Show and The Jack Benny Program. He was also a nondrinker in private life and had 11 children with his wife Alma Claire Wakeham.

Frank Fontaine was a news reporter in Quebec City for CFCM (Tele 4) and CKMI 5 in the 1970's and 1980's. He is also a writer. His television and stage plays The Great Bergen, The Monster, The Great Symphonic Adventure, The Inquest and Others, have been produced by the CBC.
