Jimmy Stevens (5 August 1942 – 1 October 2021) was an English singer-songwriter and musician. He was the lead vocalist of the Beathovens. He worked with Maurice Gibb between 1971 and 1973.

James "Jimmy" Stevens is the younger son of Gordo and Tracy Stevens. His older brother is Danny Stevens.
Season 1
While his mother is training as an astronaut, Jimmy is often watched by Karen Baldwin, whose son Shane is friends with Jimmy's brother Danny.
Season 2
Jimmy learns about his mother's remarriage to Sam Cleveland while watching the Tonight ShowW with his father. Gordo asks him how he feels about it, and Jimmy replies that it's what Tracy wants before going to play Atari. He welcomes Danny home after his first year at Annapolis. Gordo comments that it's an honor because Jimmy rarely leaves his room. The two later go hang out with friends, including Kelly Baldwin, where Danny regales them with stories about his time at the naval academy. Jimmy asks Danny whether there are any cute girls at Annapolis, and his brother teases him, saying he wouldn't know what to do with a girl. While his mother is on the Moon, Jimmy starts hollowing out blocks of stinky cheese to smuggle her cigarettes. Jimmy finds Gordo wearing a space helmet in the closet one day and does not believe his excuse that it's all part of the training. When he and Danny find Gordo underwater in their pool with an oxygen tank, Danny gently confronts their father about his recent behavior, and Gordo confides in his sons about how weak and afraid he felt last time he was at Jamestown. Danny says maybe they can help and shoves Jimmy into the pool. Before Gordo goes up to the Moon, he takes Jimmy to see Return of the JediW. Jimmy is disgusted with the movie and complains to his friend Miles in a videophone message about the Ewoks, Boba Fett's death, and the reveal that Luke and Leia are siblings. His birthday passes while his mother is on the Moon, though Tracy is only able to call him on the day after because the phone was booken up. He tells Tracy that Gordo both baked and bought him a cake because the first cake turned out badly. They reminisce about his past birthdays, including when Gordo baked him another disastrous cake on his sixth birthday and when he got the Bonanza board game for his eighth. Jimmy hangs up when Tracy is given the thirty second warning. Gordo goes to the Moon on the space shuttle Columbia. Both Gordo and Tracy die on Jamestown during the Jamestown crisis, saving the base from nuclear meltdown. Jimmy and Danny attend their parents' funeral, joined by their stepfather as well as their parents' friends and colleagues.
Season 3
In 1992, Jimmy attends his brother's wedding aboard the Polaris Orbital Hotel, where he reveals in his speech that he has not moved past the loss of his parents, stating that they "didn't die for NASA, or for love, they just died". He was with almost all of the rest of the guests and Karen when the thruster fired, trapping the crew and guests that were on the ring until Danny shut down the rocket engine. During a protest at Johnson Space Center against Helium-3 mining that has led to massive job losses across fossil fuel industries, Jimmy stumbles across Sunny Hall, a young woman who introduces him to a small group of anti NASA conspiracy theorists, led by Charles Bernitz, a former Moon Marine who was on the Moon during the Jamestown crisis, although on duty at the mining site. They believe that Gordo and Tracey's death's were cover ups, as well as the death of Moon Marine commander Vance Paulson, as Bernitz does not believe that Paulson could have been killed in a simple attack. Jimmy takes Sunny into JSC, where they meet with astronauts including Alex Rossi who was the base commander during the crisis, where Rossi is surprised but happy to see Jimmy, showing him a wall dedicated to the first women astronauts, including his mother. Jimmy manages to steal Rossi's ID card at Sunny's request, which is later used by Bernitz to steal the statue of Jimmy's parents. Jimmy is asked to set up a communication link inside JSC for the conspirators to relay a message to the world, to supposedly expose NASA, by posing as a media team outside the building. Jimmy instead begins to grow worried and notices Bernitz packing a bag of guns. He tries to ring Amber but is caught by Sunny and Charles who knock him out and place him in the back of their van. Amber hears the voicemail left by Jimmy and alerts Karen Baldwin. Karen comes out to try and find him, hearing him in the back of the van, rescuing him and discovering the van is full of explosives. She tries to alert the security, which Bernitz notices detonating the van, killing himself and 195 people including Karen, while wounding hundreds more, in what becomes known as the Bombing of Johnson Space Center.
