Hermann Maier (* 7. Dezember 1972 in Altenmarkt im Pongau) ist ein ehemaliger österreichischer Skirennläufer aus Flachau. Er wurde zweimal Olympiasieger, dreimal Weltmeister und gewann viermal den Gesamtweltcup. Hinzu kommt der zehnmalige Gewinn einer Weltcup-Disziplinenwertung.
