橋本 真也 （はしもと しんや、 1965年 7月3日 - 2005年 7月11日 ）は、 日本 の 男性 プロレスラー 。 岐阜県 土岐市 出身。 血液型 AB型。 来歴. 新日本プロレスに入門. 中学時代に父が失踪し、母子家庭で育つが高校 [注釈 1] 時代に母を亡くした。 両親とは縁が薄く、養育したのは実質的に祖母であった。 学生時代に 柔道 を始めたが、両親との縁が薄く家族や仲間の温かみを求めていたことと、柔道の先生から父性の厳しさを教えられたことが、その後も橋本の人格形成に影響を与えたという分析もある [2] 。 アントニオ猪木 に憧れるようになり、 1984年 （昭和59年）4月に 新日本プロレス に入門。 同期は 武藤敬司 、 蝶野正洋 、 船木優治 、 野上彰 。
