Daniel Arthur Lanning (born April 10, 1986) is an American football coach at the University of Oregon. He was previously the defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach at the University of Georgia from 2019 to 2021.
Dan Lanning is the 35th head coach in Oregon football history and the leader of the Ducks' transition to the Big Ten Conference in 2024. He joined Oregon from Georgia, where he was the defensive coordinator of the 2022 national champions and the top defense in the nation.
