Ludmila Semenyaka ( Russian: Людмила Семеняка, born 16 January 1952) is a Soviet ballerina, born in Leningrad. She studied at the Vaganova School as a pupil of Nina Belikova [ ru]. She joined the Kirov Ballet in 1970 and later the Bolshoi Ballet in 1972, where she was a prima ballerina.
She emerged as an international star. Soon after, Ludmila Semenyaka began dancing the best classical roles: Giselle, Sylphide, Aurora (“Sleeping Beauty“), Kitri (“Don Quixote“), Nikiya (“La Bayadere“), Marie (“Nutcracker“), Raymonda.
Ludmila Semenyaka was born in St Petersburg in 1952. She studied at the Vaganova School (pupil of Nina Belikova). Graduated into the Kirov Ballet in 1970. She joined the Bolshoi in 1972, after working for 2 years with the Kirov-Mariinsky.
