Jan 25, 2006 · Fayard Nicholas, who with his brother Harold wowed the tap dancing world with their astonishing athleticism and inspired generations of dancers, has died. He was 91. The brothers were featured at New York’s Cotton Club, Hollywood films and Broadway shows, and faced racial hurdles and personal challenges.
