    Computer Science majors with an overall GPA of 3.70 or above are eligible to apply to the EECS honors degree program.

  5. About the Program. Bachelor of Arts (BA) The Data Science Major degree program combines computational and inferential reasoning to draw conclusions based on data about some aspect of the real world. Data scientists come from all walks of life, all areas of study, and all backgrounds.

  6. The Data Science B.A. degree is currently offered by the College of Letters & Science. Beginning in Fall 2024, the Data Science B.A. degree will be offered by the College of Computing, Data Science and Society. Students must plan to meet all College requirements in order to graduate, along with the major requirements: Lower-division Requirements.
