How To Play Follow The Leader: A Classic Game For Classroom And Play - Little Day Out. A game that is straightforward as it is fun, Follow The Leader is a game with many variations and is especially popular amongst little ones who love to copy.
- Copy Cats. This is a great game for eye contact, and the children all enjoy looking at the person who is ‘it’ and trying to copy their movements. It’s also good for spatial awareness, as well as being an excellent movement game.
- Copy Cats Freeze. Now it’s time to ‘up the ante’ slightly. Here’s the harder version. This game is basically the same as the version above, but this time there is a ‘trick move’.

Follow the leader is a children's game. Players first choose a leader or "head of the line" and the remaining players (the followers) all line up behind the leader. The leader then moves around and all the players have to mimic the leader's actions.
