The Devil Rides Out (U.S. title: The Devil's Bride), is a 1968 British horror film directed by Terence Fisher and starring Christopher Lee, Charles Gray, Niké Arrighi and Leon Greene. It was written by Richard Matheson based on the 1934 novel of the same title by Dennis Wheatley .

The Devil Rides Out is a 1934 novel by Dennis Wheatley telling a disturbing story of black magic and the occult. The four main characters, the Duke de Richleau , Rex van Ryn, Simon Aron and Richard Eaton, appear in a series of novels by Wheatley.
Synopsis. A biplane lands in an airfield. Out gets Rex Van Ryn (Leon Greene) who is met by Nicholas, the Duc de Richleau (Christopher Lee). As they drive, they discuss that no-one has seen Simon Aron (Patrick Mower) recently so they decide to go to his house. At Simon's house there are a number of guests.
Overview. The powers of good are pitted against the forces of evil as the Duc de Richelieu wrestles with the charming but deadly Satanist, Mocata, for the soul of his friend.
