May 11, 2024 · Pilot Pirx's Inquest is quite watchable. This is due to the absolutely serious treatment of the subject matter by the director. The charade on the Goliath is simply excellent.

Pilot Pirx’s Inquest is a joint Polish-Soviet 1978 film directed by Marek Piestrak based on the story The Inquest by Stanisław Lem from his short story collection More Tales of Pirx the Pilot.
Seasoned space pilot Pirx is sent on a mission to Saturn to evaluate ’nonlinears’–androids that are supposedly indistinguishable from humans. He knows one of the crew members is an android, but he doesn’t know which one, leading to a dangerous game with his secret opponent and a shady corporation.
