In fact, this movie is a remake or rather a reinterpretation of the Spanish horror thriller "Sleep Tight" by Jaume Balagueró. The eponymous door lock, however, is something that was added for the Korean script. To make a lock's safety dependent on just four numbers which can open the door to an apartment is really scary.
