Torsten (Franz Rogowski) lives together with his mother (Eva Weßenborn) in a bleak apartment building in Berlin trying to make ends met by working in a supermarket. However, this is just one part of his life because the other half of the day he disguises as “Lux”, a superhero, helping others.
