A Hungarian countess seeks the aid of a noted psychiatrist, in hopes of freeing herself of a mysterious evil influence.
A sequel to Dracula (1931), this film follows the psychiatrist Dr. Garth who tries to help the Countess Marya Zaleska, the daughter of Dracula, overcome her bloodlust. The Countess steals her father's body, burns it, and kidnaps Garth's fiancée, while Scotland Yard and Professor Van Helsing pursue her.
