Synopsis. Soon after arriving at a fishing village in New England, teenage Johnny Hanson (Ron Howard) goes to Ronda's Cafe, where he timidly sits at a table. When the owner Ronda Carlson (Cloris Leachman) comes to take his order, he asks her name, and when she replies, he abruptly departs.
