Adorable Julia (German: Julia, Du bist zauberhaft) is a 1962 Austrian French German comedy movie directed by Alfred Weidenmann and was based on the 1937 novel Theatre by W. Somerset Maugham and was turned into a play by Guy Bolton.
After years of marriage, Julia Lambert, a successful actress in London, discovers that life with her producer-director husband, Michael, has become primarily a business arrangement. This depressing revelation is heightened by the fact that she is no longer young and is the mother of a son in college.
Julia (Lilli Palmer), a successful aging stage actress whose husband Charles (Charles Boyer) produces and directs her in hit after hit. She takes on a younger lover Tom (Jean Sorel) who uses her as a stepping stone in high society.
