May 8, 1996 · Sharpe (Sean Bean) marries his sweetheart Jane but, before the honeymoon is over, has to leave on a perilous mission to capture a French fort high in the Pyrenees. While he is away, Jane catches a deadly fever which is sweeping through the British camp.
May 8, 1996 · Sharpe, with his new commanding officer, is sent to capture a castle when news comes of locals who will rise against Bonaparte. However, he is somewhat distracted by thoughts of his wife whom he was forced to leave while stricken with fever.
Sharpe marries his sweetheart, Jane Gibbons, but has to leave her immediately to go on a dangerous mission in the Pyrenees, to capture a French fort. While Sharpe is battling with the French, his wife contracts a deadly fever which has swept through the British camp and endangers her life.
