OUR RIVER…OUR SKY is her first narrative feature film as director. She has taught filmmaking in the UK and Palestine and in 2004 co-founded a free-of-charge film training centre in Baghdad.
The narrative in Our River…Our Sky (aka Kulshi Makoo in Arabic) is set against a background of sectarian violence in the last week of 2006, between Christmas and the Adha Eid.
