Centers on the life of Felicitas Guerreo (1846-1872), who married 51-year-old Martin Alzaga at age 16. She was appointed sole heiress of his possessions at the time of his death, making her extremely wealthy at the age of 26. Soon after she was murdered by a jealous suitor.
