Bohus Battalion (Swedish: Bohus bataljon) is a 1949 Swedish comedy film directed by Sölve Cederstrand and Arthur Spjuth and starring Per Grundén, Doris Svedlund and Gus Dahlström. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director P.A. Lundgren.

The Bohuslän Regiment ( Swedish: Bohusläns regemente ), designation I 17, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traces its origins back 1661. It was disbanded in 1992. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the provinces of Bohuslän, and it was later garrisoned there in the town Uddevalla . Heraldry and traditions.

The history of Bohuslän Big Band goes back to the early 1800s when they were one of many military orchestras in Sweden under the name of Bohus Battalion. From the mid-1950s, the band developed into one of Sweden’s only two fully professional big bands and consisting of sixteen full-time musicians.
