Chanel Solitaire (1981) - Turgid Europudding biopic with Marie France Pisier in her late thirties in pigtails playng a teenage Coco Chanel at first, plus Timothy Dalton, Rutger Hauer (probably the last time he was young and beautiful rather than middle-aged and handsome) and Karen Black.
Sep 10, 2012 · Madame Chanel changed the way all women dressed and deserves a better biopic than this. Not that exquisite Pisier is subjected to hours of make-up to achieve the withered beldame of later years.
