Under the Dome tells the story of the residents of the fictional small town of Chester's Mill, when a massive, transparent and indestructible dome suddenly cuts them off from the rest of the world. Military forces, the government, and the media start positioning themselves outside the barrier in an attempt to break it down.
Chester's Mill is a small town in the State of Maine. When the Dome came down, the town was cut off from the outside world, including many of the town officials and emergency personnel (some police and the entire fire department) who were at a Parade in Westlake at the time.
Under the Dome: Created by Brian K. Vaughan. With Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Alexander Koch, Colin Ford. An invisible and mysterious force field descends upon the small town of Chester's Mill, Maine, USA, trapping residents inside, cut off from the rest of civilization.
