Plot. In 1945, at the end of World War II, married couple Mary and Peter Morley are seeing each other again after both serving in the military. When they parted, they were planning to divorce, but they never went through with it. Now reunited, they must decide if the marriage should end.
With Paulette Goddard, Fred MacMurray, Macdonald Carey, Arleen Whelan. After serving overseas for four years, "Captain Lonelyhearts" is ready to give marriage a second chance, but her estranged husband has a new girlfriend who is eager to see the divorce papers signed.
