Tragic Hero (Cantonese Yale: Ying hung ho hon), also known as Rich and Famous II, is a 1987 Hong Kong action-crime film directed by Taylor Wong, and starring Chow Yun-fat, Andy Lau, and Alex Man. The film is the sequel to Rich and Famous but was released first.

Synopsis: In the 1970s, Li Ah Chai was a powerful Hong Kong crime boss whose lieutenants were two orphaned brothers, Tang Kat Yung and Lam Ting Kwok. When he names Kwok as his heir, the cruel and sadistic Yung becomes jealous.

Superior to the first film in every way, Tragic Hero foregoes the comedic antics of Rich and Famous in favour of the constant downbeat misery promised by its title. Once again, Taylor Wong focuses on triad melodrama over action, though the story here is more compelling than before, with Alex Man chewing the scenery as a wonderfully hatable villain.
