The Saragossa Manuscript (Polish: Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie, "The Manuscript found in Zaragoza") is a 1965 Polish film directed by Wojciech Has, based on the 1815 novel The Manuscript Found in Saragossa by Jan Potocki. Set primarily in Spain, it tells a frame story containing gothic, picaresque and erotic elements.
Based on a novel by Jan Potocki, the film follows a French officer who finds a book that relates his grandfather's story in Spain. The book contains tales of ghosts, gypsies, inquisitors, princesses and more, creating a complex and mystical tapestry.

A 1999 film adaptation of a Polish novel about a book that contains a series of erotic and supernatural stories. Two soldiers in the Napoleonic Wars discover the book and get drawn into its fantastical and dangerous tales.
