American eccentric cinema is a mode of contemporary American filmmaking that emerged in what has been termed the metamodern or new sincerity. Its attachment to indie cinema has led some to consider it a movement and genre of cinema in the United States.
My favorite eccentric films - my own "un certain regard". I like eccentric people, stories and films, etc. One favorable source for such films is the Cannes Film Festival award "un certain regard" - but not the only one. Leave a comment if you have other high class sources or film suggestions!
