Loving Miss Hatto. The story of one of Britain's most famous pianists, Joyce Hatto, and her husband William, from their meeting in post-war London to her death in 2006 - after which her recordings were discovered to be one of the biggest hoaxes in classical music history.
In 1953, William Barrington-Coupe - known as Barrie - spots concert pianist Joyce Hatto and recognizes her talent. They marry and Barrie becomes Joyce's agent. Joyce makes several records, which achieve some popularity, though stage fright restricts the success of her concert tours.
Joyce Hatto (Francesca Annis) makes controversial recordings that make her famous late in her life.
