Dec 27, 2017 · As the film opens, Katja (Kruger) is dropping off her son, Rocco ( Rafael Santana ), with her Turkish immigrant husband, Nuri ( Numan Acar) at the tax consulting firm that they run before going off for a spa date with a pregnant friend. We learn that they two met when she was in college and he was her weed dealer.
After four years in prison on drug charges, reformed drug-dealer and Turkish immigrant Nuri, and his young German wife Katja finally settle into a happy daily routine in Hamburg, with high hopes of making a fresh start for themselves and their six-year-old son Rocco.
