Paul and Esther appear to be the perfect unmarried couple, living free without the stresses of conventional marriage. But when Esther sleeps with a guest of one of their free-for-all parties, Paul sinks into jealousy and cruelty.
Overview. Phillipe and Esther live an apparently idyllic life with their daughter, Elise. In an attempt to preserve this bliss, Phillipe decides that he and Esther should each have affairs, being sure to tell each other openly about them.
