2♣ - 2 ♦ - 2♥ - 3NT – 4NT is RKCB with hearts as trumps (responder hasn’t bid any suit naturally, so now reverts to the 4NT bidder who has bid hearts). Note – the agreed trump suit doesn’t necessarily mean that this is the suit of the final contract.
RKCB is a version of the standard Blackwood 4NT that’s used to ask partner how many aces he holds. RKCB improves on this convention by allowing you to check on five important cards – the four aces and the king of your trump suit.
