bob hund (Swedish for "bob dog") is an indie rock band from Sweden. Their music, hard to classify, has been described as "what you might expect if you managed to merge Pere Ubu and Pixies with a touch of Kraftwerk". bob hund have performed mostly in Scandinavia as well as in Poland and England.
Med små medel och alldeles för höga ambitioner har Bob Hund fått resa genom Sverige, endast för att se landet gå från 1990-talets naiva popkulturella uppvaknade till 2020-talets dygnet-runt-uppkopplade sömnsvårigheter.
Bob hund, av bandet skrivet bob hund, är ett svenskt indierockband bildat 1991 av Jonas Jonasson, Mats Hellquist och Thomas Öberg i Stockholm. Efter ungefär ett halvår hade bandet utökats med Conny Nimmersjö, Johnny Essing och Mats Andersson. 1993 skrev bandet kontrakt med skivbolaget Silence Records och gav samma år även ut sin första EP.
