Cristina " Cris " Bonacci (born 15 October 1964) is an Australian-born producer, songwriter, and musician. She was the lead guitarist in the British heavy metal band Girlschool (1984 to 1992, 2004) and has also provided session guitar work for other artists.

In 1985, Girlschool veered towards a more commercial and American FM-friendly sound and expanded to a five-piece group, with Cris Bonacci replacing Johnson on lead guitar and Jackie Bodimead joining on lead vocals. This formation was short-lived; Bodimead left in 1986 and Girlschool then reverted to a four-piece line-up.
Girlschool are a British rock band that formed in the new wave of British heavy metal scene in 1978. Frequently associated with contemporaries Motörhead, they are the longest-running all-female rock band, still active after more than 40 years.

May 9, 2023 · According to Cris Bonacci, the guitarist who replaced Kelly Johnson in Girlschool in 1984, this eighth album had a working title combining feminism and rock’n’roll attitude in two words: ‘No Bollocks’. Instead, the music became a statement in itself.
