Daniel John Mark Luke O'Donoghue (born 3 October 1980) [2] is an Irish singer-songwriter best known for being the frontman of the Irish rock band The Script and as a coach on the first two series of the television singing talent show The Voice UK. He was earlier a member of the Irish boy band Mytown .
The lead singer of the Irish band The Script posted a tribute to his late bandmate Mark Sheehan, who died of a brief illness in April 2023. He also announced that the band would switch off their personal accounts and share content from Sheehan's tribute shows on their official account.
