Erik Rutan (born June 10, 1971) is an American heavy metal musician and producer from New Jersey. He is the guitarist and lead vocalist of death metal band Hate Eternal and lead guitarist for Cannibal Corpse, who he fully joined in 2021 after acting as a fill-in guitarist during their 2019 tour.

In 2021, Rutan became a full-time member of Cannibal Corpse after the departure of Pat O'Brien in 2018. He was also twice a full-time member of Morbid Angel from 1993 to 1996 and from 1999 to 2002. After his departures, he appeared as a live guitarist in 1998 and 2006.
