Andrew Alcott Hallett (August 4, 1975 – March 29, 2009) was an American actor and singer who became known from playing the part of Lorne in the television series Angel (2000–2004). He used his singing talents often on the show, and performed two songs on the series' 2005 soundtrack album, Angel: Live Fast, Die Never .
The late actor was cast as the singing demon Lorne after Joss Whedon saw him in a karaoke bar. His costars and creators paid tribute to him at EW's Angel reunion shoot.
Andy Hallett (1975-2009) was an American actor and singer who played Lorne, a demon who reads people through karaoke, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. He also appeared in Chance, The Enforcers and Geppetto's Secret, and died of congestive heart disease in 2009.
