Fred Steven "Skip" Heller (born October 4, 1965) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Although active in many different types of music as a performer, producer, and historian [2] coming out of the Philadelphia jazz scene, and in spite of local critical recognition, he did not make a large mark in his hometown.
Fred Steven Heller, known to the music world as Skip Heller, is one of the Los Angeles country and roots music scene's most interesting and complex players. Known as "America's most confusing country singer," Heller was born in Philadelphia on October 4, 1965 to an Italian mother and Jewish father.
