Fear Allerton (née Brewster; c. 1606 - before December 12, 1634) was a woman in Colonial America. She was the third daughter of Mayflower Pilgrim William Brewster and his wife Mary, born in Scrooby, Nottinghamshire, England. Her early years, and indeed her whole life, were full of unrest.

Fear Allerton (née Brewster; c. 1606 - before December 12, 1634) was a woman in Colonial America. She was the third daughter of Mayflower Pilgrim William Brewster and his wife Mary, born in Scrooby, Nottinghamshire, England. Her early years, and indeed her whole life, were full of unrest.
In 1634, more misfortune came to the colony with disease killing many people, among them were Allerton's wife Fear, daughter of William Brewster, as well as her sister Patience, wife of Thomas Prence, who would later be governor of the Plymouth Colony.
Fear Brewster was one of the three children left behind in Holland by William and Mary Brewster, who sailed on the Mayflower in 1620. She arrived in Plymouth in 1623 with her sister Patience and brother Jonathan, and married Isaac Allerton, another Mayflower passenger.
William Brewster (c. 1566/67 – 10 April 1644) was an English official and Mayflower passenger in 1620. He became senior elder and the leader of Plymouth Colony, by virtue of his education and existing stature with those immigrating from the Netherlands, being a Brownist (or Puritan Separatist ).
