Feb 12, 2018 · On Monday, September 17, 2001, an unidentified man was found hanged to death in a motel room in the Lake Quinault Inn, a motel in Amanda Park, Washington. The man registered as “Lyle Stevik”, the name of a character from a 1987 novel by Joyce Carol Oates “You Must Remember This” and left a note behind in the room.
