Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia (Russian: Великая Княгиня Мария Павловна; 18 April [O.S. 6 April] 1890 – 13 December 1958), known as Maria Pavlovna the Younger, was a granddaughter of Alexander II of Russia.
Maria Pavlovna of Russia, 1890– 1958 Maria Pavlovna was the daughter of Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia and Princess Alexandra of Greece, and a cousin of the last Tsar. She married Prince Wilhelm of Sweden in Saint Petersburg in 1908.
Perhaps it was because she had never had much of a childhood herself that Grand Duchess Marie Pavlovna of Russia, daughter of Grand Duke Paul Aleksandrovich and Aleksandra of Greece, had no great affinity for the toddlers of this world.
