Pupils from English medium primary schools can join the Immersion Course at Ysgol Maes Garmon in year 7 and be taught Welsh by specialist language teachers. Every learner at Ysgol Maes Garmon is regarded as an individual who is an important member of the ‘family’ of Ysgol Maes Garmon.
Ysgol Maes Garmon is an 11–18 mixed, Welsh-medium community secondary school and sixth form in Mold, Flintshire, Wales. It was established in 1961 and is the only Welsh-medium High school in Flintshire.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION. Full provision for Sport and Recreation – The Sport Centre, and Gymnasium offer facilities for squash, badminton, indoor tennis, table tennis, basketball, and swimming pool. Playing fields with hockey, football, rugby, cricket pitches, athletics track, tennis courts and a floodlit Astroturf pitch.
