The Al Ahmadiya is one of the traditional schools of Dubai and has been fully restored to give visitors an idea of how it was in the middle of the 20th century. Al-Ahmadiya was inaugurated in 1912, and quickly became one of the finest centres of education in the country.
I visited the Al Ahmadiya school, which is located in the heart of Deira not too far from the more famous Gold and Spice Souks. The school was converted into a heritage building, showing how traditional schools used to be.
