Start of term: 22nd April 2025. End of term: 12.40pm 23rd July 2025. Half term: 26th-30th May 2025. The School Day. Students must arrive in school before 8.50am. 8.50-9.10am: Morning registration Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 9.00-9.10am: Morning registration Wednesday and Friday. 9.10-10.10am: Lesson 1. 10.10-11.10/11.30am: Lesson 2.
The Priory School is the only co-educational secondary school in Hitchin, the others being Hitchin Boys' School and Hitchin Girls' School. The Priory School is part of the Hitchin Consortium with Hitchin Boys’ School and Hitchin Girls’ School for Sixth Form.
There are four main points of entry into Priory School. In-year admissions are also considered. Registrations are now open for our 2023 Year 7 Entrance Examination.
