Hinchingbrooke School is a large comprehensive secondary school situated on the outskirts of Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire, historically in Huntingdonshire. Originally all of the surrounding land—including what is now Huntingdon Town—comprised the grounds of Hinchingbrooke House .

Hinchingbrooke House was formerly the family home of the Cromwells and of the Earls of Sandwich. The school finds inspiration from its heritage and gives both staff and students a very special pride and a sense of identity that we capture in the phrase: We are Hinchingbrooke.

So for a start date of 4 th September, the first day of the 24/25 academic year, the earliest an in-year application could be considered is the 10 th June. A copy of the school's Admissions Policy document is attached below.
